John Hynes joined Tarion in 2008 as Director, Application Development in the Information Systems department. In January 2023, John became Assistant Vice President, Information Systems. In 2024, he was promoted to Vice President and Chief Information Officer. John’s experience at Tarion includes strategic and modernization planning, with recent initiatives including Warranty Services Modernization, Information Systems Strategy, Cloud Migration Strategy and Digitalization Strategy. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from McMaster University and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from York University.
