Andy joined the Board in 2017 and his current term expires in 2026. Andy currently serves as the Chair of the Board. He is also an ex officio member of the Audit & Risk, the Governance, Regulatory Affairs & Nominations, Human Resources & Compensation Committees, Investment Committee and the Stakeholder Committees.
He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Andy was a partner at KPMG in the financial services audit practice prior to retiring from that position in 2016. During his career at KPMG, he provided audit, advisory and risk management services to Canada's major banks, smaller banks, insurers, credit unions, investment dealers and banking technology companies. He has served on advisory committees to federal and provincial financial services regulators and served the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and Canada as chair or a member of committees dealing with financial services regulation and insurance.
He currently serves on the board of SBI Canada Bank, and has previously served as chair or board member of several arts organizations and a charitable foundation.
