As of November 15, 2024, Canada Post workers are on strike, affecting the delivery of mail and parcels.

Information for homeowners

Homeowners who wish to submit warranty forms or other documents to Tarion during this time are advised to use one of the following methods to ensure they submit forms on time, as warranty submission timelines will not be extended:

  • MyHome, Tarion’s online service for homeowners. 
  • Email to customerservice@tarion.com 
  • Deliver in person or by courier to Tarion’s corporate office, located at 5160 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario, M2N 6L9

If you are not already registered for MyHome and need assistance in setting up your account, please contact, customerservice@tarion.com

Please note: notices to your builder cannot be sent via registered mail during this time (for example, a notice of termination). Any documentation or other information sent after November 9 via registered mail must be re-sent by another method (email, courier, or hand delivery) to ensure receipt.

Information for builders

Throughout this mail disruption, you are responsible for meeting all deadlines regarding sufficient notice for delayed closing or occupancy. We cannot extend these timelines. To provide notice of delays to purchasers, you can use email, courier, or hand delivery. Notices cannot be sent via registered mail. Any notices sent to purchasers after November 9 via registered mail must be re-sent by another method to ensure receipt.

If you need to submit QFE applications or enrolments, please do so using BuilderLink. 

Enrolment fees can be paid online using BuilderLink via Electronic Funds Transfer. If your BuilderLink account is not currently set up to use this feature, please contact BuilderLink Support at 1-877-6497 ext. 3170

Claim invoice payments can be made via Visa or MasterCard. To do so, please contact Odette Faria at 1-877-696-6497 ext 3866.

To send cheques to Tarion, please use a courier service or hand deliver to our office. Do not mail cheques during this time.
